The Church Council shall provide for planning and implementing a program of nurture, outreach, witness, and resources It shall also provide for the administration of its organization and temporal life. It shall envision, plan, implement, and annually evaluate the mission and ministry of the church.
The Nurture Work Area shall give attention to Christian formation, membership care and small groups.
The Outreach Work Area shall give attention to local and larger community ministries of compassion, justice, and advocacy.
The Witness Work Area shall give attention to developing and strengthening evangelistic efforts of sharing of personal and congregational stories of Christian experience, faith, and service.
Committee of Staff Parish Relations shall encourage, strengthen, nurture, support, and respect the pastor and staff, confer with and counsel on matters pertaining to the effectiveness of ministry, relationships with the congregation and to interpret the nature and function of ministry.
Stewardship/Finance Committee shall compile a complete budget for the church, develop and implement plans for raising sufficient income to meet the budget, administer funds received, and provide education on Christian stewardship.
Board of Trustees shall have the supervision, oversight, and care of all real property owned by the church, review annually the adequacy of insurance, and serve as the corporate body of the Church subject to the direction and control of the charge conference.
Committee on Nominations and Leadership Development shall identify, develop, deploy, evaluate, and monitor Christian spiritual leadership for the local congregation.
