Sunday School Classes for all ages are held at 9:00 AM each Sunday.
Faith Lessons Sunday School Class – Room 107
“What’s So Amazing About Grace?”
The Faith Lessons class cordially invites you to join us in our ongoing studies into matters of the heart, Christian faith, and daily life. Our class focuses together on fresh, relevant works by renowned Christian authors that address modern living and developing a mature, healthy relationship with God in a busy world. We read the books together in class and then discuss what we have read in light of our own circumstances and unique points of view. The class challenges us to handle those day-to-day struggles we face at home, with family and friends, or even within our ministry through the church. For example, our current text, Phillip Yancey’s “What’s So Amazing About Grace,” takes a deep look at the concept of grace, from the true meaning of the word, to how individuals and congregations embody (or sadly, malign) the concept.
The class members also take pride in our fellowship, sharing our joys and concerns with one another and offering assurance or support. We have been known to halt our study discussion if someone has a need they’d like to talk through, although it’s amazing how it always seems to come back around to the study topic at hand. We are a close-knit group, but always happy to add some more “stitches!” We hope you’ll join us on Sunday morning.

Morris Hall Library
ser·en·dip·i·ty [ser-uh n-dip-i-tee] noun 1. an aptitude for making desirable discoveries by accident. 2. good fortune; luck: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/serendipity.
Serendipity is when someone finds something that they weren’t expecting to find. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serendipity
The Serendipity Adult Sunday School class meets in the ‘old library’ in Morris Hall (across from the Men’s Restroom). We meet each Sunday 52 weeks a year. We generally try to start around 8:45. We read the various Bible chapters and then answer selected guided questions regarding the verse.
The Serendipity Bible Study is designed to encourage growth in relationships with Jesus Christ and each other. We are currently “wandering” through the Old Testament. You can come in on any Sunday and pick up right where we are.
Everyone is welcome. If you have not been in an Adult Sunday School class for a while or you have never tried one – Serendipity might well be a good fit. If you have questions please contact AnnaMarie Sollars and/or Greg Ferguson or any of the Serendipity class.
